The delegation of cotton industry experts from Central Asian countries visited and exchanged ideas

In order to strengthen friendly exchanges with the five Central Asian countries and expand agricultural technology cooperation with them, the "International Training Course on Cotton Production Management in Central Asian Countries" was held from October 24th to November 6th in Anyang City, Henan Province, China. The course was hosted by the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by the Cotton Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, focusing on the theme of cotton production throughout the entire industry chain.

On November 2, 2024, personnel from the cotton industry expert group of Central Asian countries, led by Yin Zujun, Director of the Personnel Department of China Cotton Institute, Shi Yongqiang, Assistant Director, Wang Lizhi, Deputy Station Chief, and Wang Kunfeng, Station Chief Assistant, went to the factory for inspection and exchange. Relevant agricultural experts from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan conducted on-site visits to production workshops, finished product warehouses, central control rooms, etc. Zhongmian Xiaokang presented a comprehensive exhibition on the company's development history, corporate culture, related products, planting techniques, and other aspects.

Central Asia is one of the important cotton producing regions in the world, and China has rich experience in innovative development and management of the entire cotton industry chain. The two sides have conducted in-depth exchanges on cotton planting technology, management experience, and other aspects. Through this inspection, both sides have learned from each other, laying a solid foundation for diversified cotton production and income increase, and further assisting in the improvement of cotton production technology in Central Asia.
